A little late leaving my review but I wanted to say what a great buying experience from Matt and Chris. I initially found the car I was interested in before Christmas and the team quickly got me all the details I requested. I had a family bereavement over the festive period and the guys worked compassionately and arranged for everything to happen with minimum disturbance, thank you guys. My BMW was delivered in the snow and washed just prior to handover and my Alfa taken back in part exchange exactly as promised. My new car was as described, actually exceeding my expectations. For someone who has been in the motor trade the past 30 years thats hard to do! Thank you to everyone involved.

Friendly and relaxed with no hard sell here. Great cars backed and serviced by Mercedes. You have to keep checking the stock as they sell quickly.

Purchased a VW TROC which was priced well, once I took delivery of the vehicle a warning light for the pedestrian protection/lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control sensor. I made tangelo aware right away, I was advised by Elliot that Tangelo would look in to getting this resolved using the extra warranty Id purchased at the time of sale. AA warranty advised they wouldnt cover the cost as the vehicle must have been delivered with the issue, after some confusion Tangelo agreed to cover the cost of the repair over the space of 2 months my car went in and out of my local VW dealership three times, this was inconvenient for me as I had to request time off work to leave early so that so was able to collect/drop off the vehicle. Brad seemed very responsive regarding any questions I had about the issues, I cannot fault him in any way. I became fed up with the situation and requested to speak to Taylor Jones to explore what my options were with the vehicle, I found Taylor to be quite patronising during this phone call I was advised by Taylor that returning the car wasnt an option as it didnt suit the way Tangelo did business, Nevertheless I proceeded to allow Tangelo to get the vehicle repaired, the vehicle required 1500+ to be spent in order to fix the issue, thankfully Tangelo covered the cost and didnt leave me stranded, I cant help but feel that it could have been an easier process to do so at times. There was also a separate issue where I realised that I was missing some service history, I had to chase this up a few times eventually I had to get in touch with the general manager (Michael Bourne) who was very prompt at making sure I received this, as Id expressed my frustration at the lack of urgency from other staff who Id asked to provide this. Would I buy from Tangelo again? Personally, Im going to say no but if you do decide to purchase from them, do bare in mind that their cars are cheap because they arent considered acceptable enough to have on their sister site (Mercedes dealership) due to various reasons, that could be anything from vehicles having more than average owners, high mileage or even having missing service history.
