Real Glamping at the Fir Hill Ltd

Been home one night and already missing it terribly. Such a well thought out and equipped holiday location. Our yurt was so spacious even with 7 of us in it. We loved the feeling of having our own space because of the surrounding hedge but we didnt feel cut off either. Each yurt having its own kitchen space is a game changer along with the cooler box system. Fir Hill is so close to some stunning beaches yet at night when youre sitting around your fire looking at a stunning sunset and then star gazing, youd think you were in the middle of nowhere. Charlie is a great host and has created a very special place. Thank you Charlie.

I went to Fir Hill in July 2020 and after months of hideous lockdown it was a slice of heaven! I wrangled together a group of 18 friends and we hired out 3 yurts between us. They were so comfortable with huge soft beds and lots of space for 6 people. The facilities were great. Each yurt had its own outside kitchen with tap and gas hob as well as picnic table and chairs for lounging. We had stunning views over the valley and beyond. In the main building there was another inside kitchen for group meals that we could use as well as a bbq area and plenty of fire pits. We throughly enjoyed hanging out there in the evenings with Charlie, the owner, helping us whenever it was needed. The showers and toilets are cleaned regularly and are large. The whole setting is stunning as well as being very close to multiple beaches. All in all a perfect experience and would definitely be back!! Thank you Charlie!
