        Beautiful retreat centre in the countryside. Usually only for those practicing within the Triratna Buddhist Community, they do offer retreats for newcomers to learn about Buddhism and meditation. Stunning gardens that are wonderful to be in even in winter. Quiet and serene, Adhistana is an amazing place to come and reflect, study and practice meditation. Two full time communities live on site with lovely, friendly people that live there. Food was plentiful and delicious. Rooms are usually shared, with 2 or 3 people to a dorm, simply and comfortably designed.
