We have just returned from a lovely relaxing week away in Cambridge Cottage. The cottage is perfectly proportioned with all the amenities you may need for your stay. The extra touches from Anne were lovely (tea coffee sugar milk and scones) and I cannot recommend a stay in this cottage enough. The location is idyllic and provided a perfect base for exploring Coddenham and Ipswich. Framlingham Castle is a super day out and the beach at Southwold 40 minutes away by car. There are a few pubs in the surrounding area (The Highwayman, The Rampant Horse, The Sorrell Horse) that serve food and are well worth the visit. All in all we have had a fantastic time and will definitely look to return to explore what we missed this time.

I booked Cambridge Cottage for a number of nights this September (2021). I was spectacularly lucky with the weather, as I intended to use the time away to do some big bike rides in beautiful Suffolk. From the moment I entered the cottage I felt at home, and it proved to be a delightful and comfortable place to come back to, of an evening after a long day out.

Lovely cottage for two only. Compact and bijou. Large deep bath. Lovely community shop nearby. Bus services the town but other than the shop and the bus there are no other services present. When we arrived everything was ready and we'll presented with enough in to get you started. Fireplace/hearth had fuel for one fire. Supplies available from the Community store. Information box directly opposite. No onsite parking but on street parking available some 30 metres away. Idyllic look to Coddenham. Bring your own booze (or a designated driver). A great place for a 'get away from it all' break.
