        Booked a table for 5 for Sunday lunch at 1pm. When we arrived the waitress came over and took our order for drinks, within 10 minutes she came back to inform us that all they had left for Sunday lunch was 1 lamb and a few pork nothing else... at 1pm! We had driven quite a distance and it would have been nice to have been told before we spent 40 on drinks that this was the case. We then told them we were leaving and didn't get apology from anyone. I get the impression from the landlady that all they are interested in is the locals and no one else.

        A lovely old country pub with plenty of parking. Nice friendly staff and locals. They serve a good pint of beer. Loads of outside seating if you want to sit outside for a meal and a drink.
