        Lovely 250 year old house, right in the middle of Cockermouth. Very clean and tidy, with all mod cons you might need. Owners were friendly and helpful answering all my questions beforehand. Stayed for a week at the end of school holidays, and felt I got a really good price. Ideally placed in the North West of the Lake District for access to Keswick, the North West coast, Bassenthwaite Lake, but not much further on to the rest of the Lakes.
