4 of us came for food here and had such a wonderful experience the service we received was great and the food and cocktails were delicious.If your visiting definitely try the cosmo cocktail.

I booked a table for a small birthday celebration with a few friends and we were treated to an amazing experience! Our waitress was attentive and very friendly, the food service was speedy and everything was cooked to perfection! I recommend the steak with teriyaki sauce to anyone with taste buds. Overall the quality of service, effort and attention to detail shown by the staff made the night extra special and Ill definitely be booking in again soon.

Amazing food and great service and amenities. Fantastic welcome from the staff. Complimentary chilli and paprika bread with garlic butter brought out. The meat sharing platter is Fantastic. My wife and I don't drink so ordered a non alcoholic cocktail and they were the best we'd had. We had the special to share which was an 18oz fillet with 4 sides and 2 sauces. They only have 2 of these I think so be quick. The desserts are delicious too. Service was so friendly, staff couldn't have made our meal any better...it was perfect.

After arriving in the afternoon found the above restaurant and managed to get a table early doors when they opened Saw the offer the chateau Briand steak and thought I'd give it a go Asked for it medium and 60 mins later what arrived was burnt on the outside and not far off rare in the middle and the side dishe were coated in salt 10% is what they deducted from the bill for poor service and badly cooked food (most of it uneaten) So if this what you go out looking for in a restaurant but personally I'm confused why I give it 2 stars Waste of money and I would advise people to avoid at all cost Unless poor service and under cooked is your thing Complete waste of money

We had a booking for 20:30pm arrived exactly on time and was told that our table was not ready yet. We waited in the bar area for 20 minutes before finally being shown our table. We ordered our starters and mains at 20:55 and waited and waited and waited. At 21:20 we noticed another couple being seated right next to us, they ordered their food 25 minutes after us and we thought nothing of it. At 21:45 we hadnt even received our starters yet but then the couple next to us who arrived 25 minutes after us received their starters. We then promptly told one of the waitresses that we would be leaving. My girlfriend was visibly upset as she had booked Blocks for my birthday and she was adamant that this had ruined our night. We then received a call from the general manager and we were offered a pitiful 50 voucher for our next visit. Seeing as we are not local and here on a weekend visit that doesnt do anything for us. I would recommend that no one visit Blocks as their customer service is not attentive and very unprofessional.
