Called in here as we were staying local. This is a lovely welcoming pub. We only had sandwiches when we are but they were generous portions & the main meals people were eating looked lovely and great portions. We came back in the evening for a drink the staff are so friendly and drink prices we found were reasonable. I definitely recommend calling in if you are in Cockermouth, we will certainly call in next time we visit.
