A hidden gem, is one way of describing Violet bank. After looking for many years we have found our happy place, with stunning views from our holiday home of the outlying North Western Fells right through to the distant valley of Buttermere you know your in the Lake District , with the added bonus of being in walking distance of the Bars and Restaurants and shops of Cockermouth, this friendly, quiet and well run site is a perfect choice for Lovers of the Lakes. The staff are brilliant very helpful and friendly.

We've had 2 static vans on Violet bank and we love it ..we chose this park for the stunning fell views, the peace and quiet and lack of commercialism..the site is very well maintained and Carl the site manager is always on hand if you need anything. It's the ideal place to retreat from the world, bag a fell, wander into the beautiful town of Cockermouth, eat, drink and totally relax. This is one of the fabulous views from our van.

I have now owned my holiday home on Violet Bank for the last 2 years Michael Tom and Carl are fantastic in resolving any issues you may have the groundsmen Kevin Keith and neville cannot do enough to help in any situation and very pleased that I bought on this site rather than the others I looked at and I can only say that people looking for a relaxing place in which to holiday or buy should not think twice.... absolutely fantastic site
