        Very High Costs. Commission for the buyer is up to 36%, whilst the lots are panned out so the seller has to pay lotting fees. This is wrong.

        Lots of things for sale, but a male staff member was short tempered.

        Bidding online can be daunting, more so because you probably haven't seen the lot and have only a short catalogue entry to guide you. You have to rely entirely on the integrity of the auction house. Mitchells are a house you can rely on completely. From condition report through sale and collection, all communications are frank, direct and refreshingly accurate. Post sale, their customer service team are quite brilliant, nothing phases them. Their attention to detail, empathy, charm and enthusiasm is exemplary! (unlike some auctioneers I could mention..........!)
