I requested a Japanese Knotweed survey on a property I was in the process of purchasing, and paid 358.80 upfront. The report was promised in 3 days. 2 weeks later and no sign of the report despite my follow up, I learned that they held back the report because they assumed I hadn't paid. Strangely, no one thought they should contact me to track the payment. A copy of the payment details were promptly sent over and acknowledged by them. I reminded them what this report was for and why it is urgent. Another 1 week later and no sign of the report, I wrote and asked them to cancel and refund my payment, which finally got them to respond, with a promise to send it over the next day. It took another 5 calendar days to send over the report eventually (almost a month after the survey), and well after the exchange of contracts, which makes the survey totally pointless. Disappointing service from the Grounds Care Group (GCGrp). They don't even publish a way to complain. No response from the info email either. Unprofessional. After sharing photos of a root that we were unsure of, they were happy to clarify that it was not Japanese knotweed. Very professional!
