Poynters Riding Centre, is a lovely riding school that I highly recommend. John, our current instructor, is passionate and knowledgeable, making every lesson enjoyable and effective. Lessons are varied, engaging and fun, especially for young learners. Overall, Poynters Riding Centre is an excellent value for money, with competitive pricing that allows us to come back each week without breaking the bank. I would totally recommend this riding school to anyone interested in taking up horse riding.

We booked blocks of weekly lessons for both our daughters for nearly a year, staff were so rude to us week after week. Final straw when they started being mean to the children. We couldnt believe the difference when we moved riding schools and saw how things should be done.

Very rude, impolite people running the place. On the other hand the horses/ponies were lovely.

A rude encounter today, passing the entrance to the stables with my friend on our MTB's. We encountered 4-5 Horse riders, we passed slowly and on the other side of the road, with a Road Cyclist behind, 3 of the riders smiled and said hello, the Lady of the front, I assume Instructor/Guide yelled out to us to Slow and move further away!! Really we slowed to 10-12 mph were passing on the other side of the road and considerate. No need to be so aggressive Lady we were not causing a problem......
