Until now, this has been great for EV drivers. With the new charging units installed however, there is only 1 chademo plug. Expect a long line of Nissan Leaf drivers queueing and cursing you. Common sense has left Ecotricity.

At Chobham Services. A large bank of chargers, at the far side of the car park after you enter, in a long line in the last row before the large lorry park. On entering the car park, drive down to the front of the service station building, turn right and go along to the end- theyll be in the last road on your right. All working whenever Ive been there, but they seem to be very prone to people pressing the emergency stop buttons. I always reset any whilst Im waiting at Ecotricity chargers anywhere as most people dont seem to try - the instructions are usually on the screen - turn stop button 1/4 turn clockwise and pull out, then select the button next to recover. It helps if you have little fingers, but I dont! Rarely seen anyone else there, and never ICEd. Very safe due to the constant stream of lorry drivers walking by, and the police parking space next to them which is usually occupied by a police car.
