Thankyou for all the great care you gave my mother Barbara Fakelman. For also welcoming my dad with such open arms. It was devastating for him to see his wife for over 60 years go through a devastating disease. Having to turn the care over to someone else, also devastating. But in his words my mum was treated with upmost of respect. So thankyou for each one of you that helped her in anyway.

The gables care home is probably one of the best care homes around, my dad was diagnosed with dementia and was put there, when he first got there is wasn't very mobile and he could eat on his own, now with the help of all the carers he won't stop walking around the halls and is eating by him self some times, all the staff that work there are amazing and get to know the residents personally, the first couple of times I visited I spoke to one of the carers Debbie and she would let me know how my dad has been in the week, I think all the carers need a medal as its not a easy job but they all do an amazing job.
