Brownstone Bistro

Waited 30 minutes for a beer. And a hour and a half for a main meal that was inedible when it arrived.. Restaurant was not busy. Me and my family will not be returning. When we eat out, we want to eat together. Not individually as food is brought out randomly . No one came to see if we wanted any more drinks or if everything was okay. We left feeling almost as though are being there was inconvenient for the staff.

Came here for tea midweek and the restaurant was empty. God knows why the food was absolutely delicious! Would recommend to anyone. Lovely staff, quick service, 10/10. Would be back all the time if I didnt live so far. Parking: Big car park behind the restaurant with 2 hours free parking.

Visited for a family birthday celebration. Sorry to say it wasn't a very good experience. Seemed very disorganized. Bad sign when a restaurant has no other customers. Food came out at irregular intervals spoiling the dining experience. Food was generally overpriced. Some portions were small and had to chase some dishes. Sad when we were made to preorder. When the bill came it was more than the menus prices which is unethical. Won't be returning and urge people to seriously consider spending their money elsewhere.

Was very disappointed after having a great meal here I booked a birthday meal for 20 people for my partners birthday. We had 2 unable to attend due to illness and was still charged for their meals - even though they werent there. We also realised when we got home the prices we had been charged are different to the ones on their online website and app which I was advised to look at when pre-booking the meal. Tired to call the restaurant multiple times but no one answered so had to message on Facebook, they apologised and asked us to come in. The manager refused to issue any refund and gave excuses that the meals came out even for people who werent there. Which is untrue and disappointing as we was over charged 57. The service was super slow, (one member of the group waited over and hour and a half for their main) some of the people attending the party didnt even eat their meal it was bad quality. Such a shame that their online menu and app menu is incorrect and they charge you more money. Also a shame as they could have rectified this but refused to and have lost custom from our whole party.

We had 3 plates of tapas which was lovely other than having to wait so we could eat together however inexperienced staff clearing table whilst still eating son ordered one extra meal pie has been severely overcooked and owner didn't seem bothered then cane the bill overcharged 60 pound which was rectified also had to eat with coats on freezing we won't be going back as a family. Parking: Have to pay if longer than 2 hours
