    It is common to see people complain in their reviews. What is really important is how the owners respond if things aren't found as promised. Our stay here this week was not ideal- for the same money we could have gone nearby and had a better service. However, Sam and Zay were as helpful as they could be when we contacted them and very promptly gave a fair refund to compensate for the shortcomings we found, as the previous visitor had taken things and the housekeeper hadn't done a good job. This was done IMMEDIATELY, so our four night stay was still pleasant and we were able to make it a success. The bed and mattress are firm and comfortable, the kitchen appliances are good, though there are very minimal food prep items- take your own kitchen knife! If we needed an overnight base to go walking, get washed, sleep and heat quick meals all in privacy, this would be great in the future. Note- despite being right on the High St, the traffic noise is very minimal and free on site parking is a real bonus. Washing facilities also in house, shared with other longer-term residents. Given their attentive response, I am sure the owners will fix the glitches we found this time.

    On arrival I didnt have the pin code to get in or have the card to get into my flat but someone helped me (luckily) nobody said it was on top floor with a toddler and pushchair it was hard work going up and down the stairs , which was quite narrow, Also I got woken up at 630 from noisy tumble dryers. I also think they should provide towels and extra pillows (as only had two), also its a shame there wasnt a sofa to sit on. It had a wardrobe but no hangers, anyways the flat was very nice and clean, in a good location with shops and takeaways near by.
