    I had a nightmare with EMS. I first contacted them on British Gas Local heros to change a stop tap under my sink. The fitter came out but brought the wrong tap so the job was not completed. When he was at the property I asked him to a quote to swap 2 radiators for heated towel rails he sent a quote I accepted. Time went on no communication. Then I started to get payment reminders from British Gas I rang EMS they said dont worry. Well after about 5 payment reminders and the job still not done, I get a letter from British Gas telling me they are going to refer me to a debt collection agency. And guess what non of the original jobs have been competed. They are a complete waste of time.

    This is literally the worst company I have ever experienced. I really regret using them. From start to finish they have been nothing but trouble, if I could give no stars I would. I used EMS to repair leaking guttering at the front of the house, they replaced the existing guttering but the new guttering was too long so it sticks out at the side of the house and it is leaking where it meets the down pipe. I lodged a complaint with them and they tell me they will sort it but never return my calls or get back to me. When I chase them the lady claims she has forgotten to sort it/ has been busy with sick relatives/bereavement in the family/is on the school run/ has lost my contact details/ is still looking into it/cant find a solution so needs to do more research etc. I have been patient and understanding but this has been going on for 18 months! Very unprofessional! After getting in touch with them numerous times to rectify the work I have got nowhere and have given up. I will now have to pay out to have an actual professional rectify the shoddy work. Avoid at all costs

    Had a bit of an emergency with my electrics as our main switch had blown (so we thought) and all we could smell was burning so we had our fuse box isolated and all electrics were off the same night. I rang EMS around 8am and explained the situation and within about an hour he was here! He had a look at the issue first to see what needed to be done and showed me and explained the issue and told me what needed to be done. Straight away he told me roughly what price mark it would be around and his wife did the quote and emailed it straight over to me once it was all priced up which was left to me to decide if I was happy with the quote so I said yes as I really didn't have a choice as I had no electric what so ever. Before I had even answered they had already brought the supplies for the job just in case I agreed which I did. They had another job scheduled before me but was able to fit my fuse box by the afternoon which is better than any other company I had tried to ring and message plus they were so easy to get hold of! Within a couple of hours the work was done, tested and finished. Once the job was finished there wasn't any mention or pressure for money or anything which I know most companies can be quite pushy for fast payment but obviously we paid them straight away once the job was done. Cannot find fault with them at all! Both him and his wife very professional from start to finish and will recommend to anyone! Great to speak to as well and made me very comfortable and trusting in my own home especially being 9 months pregnant, it's the type of company and service you need! They will now be our first and only point of contact for future work! Sorry my review is so long but I felt you all needed to know my experience from start to finish! Thank you so much to you both, I have no words to how grateful we are for your work and customer service! Top job to you both and best in the business!
