Nice little park good path around the football pitches to walk dogs. Ample parking if your driving. For the play area the area is quite small could do with a little update on a few of the items like the individual seesaws. My little one is 2 and other than the swings and seesaws there wasnt much for her.

Millfield recreation ground Located off Station Road in Hugglescote this site offers free car parking. There is a children's play area with swings, climbing frame and rockers along with a multi-use games area and an open field area for an informal kick about and dog walking. The "Famous Fifty" were the first of the August 1914 volunteers from the area to go to set foot in France and fight on the Western Front in WW1. To remember them the planting of fifty trees and the unveiling of the only memorial to show their names together. On 28 October 2018, the march they made from Hugglescote to Coalville train station was recreated using fifty three local men (three were officers)
