Shame one of your vans that hurtled past me on the A30 earlier towards Exeter in hazardous conditions and well over 70mph, does not know that the speed limit for vans is 60 on a dual carriageway. In a livered van too!

I have has my first cataract procedure today by the nhs at Spamedica in Exeter. Three weeks from referral to op.Had my pre asessment on thursday,op on sunday. I have had the standard iol implanted and am totally amazed at the colour perception.All the colours i could see before are so bright clear and vivid.I didnt realise how bad my untreated eye was.if i close my treated eye,it looks like im looking through a sepia film,change eyes and whites are now brilliant white. The procedure was very pleasant,no pain or discomfort at all.7 hours since op,no discomfort at all. I must praise the spa medica staff in exeter,from being greeted at the enterance meeting the reception staff,nurses and Naz,my surgeon,all fantastic caring people who were totally professional and put me at ease all the way through. I cant recommend them more.

A rare occasion you wish you could give 6 stars. Friendly prep team helpful at every step - then on the day I cannot thank the eye surgeon & his team enough - just 24 hours after the op and Ive got my sight back - totally transformational. Thank you!!!!
