Sunday lunch at the Hunters OK let's start off positive nice location love the interior nice beer, actual lunch excellent size meat portion, no complaints there very nicely cooked pork with crackling and lovely beef and yorkshire pudding, the negatives the whole place needs a really good deep clean it's awful, there's no attention to detail here you have to go to the bar to order food when there is four staff stood there doing nothing apart from one lady with blonde hair who was yawning must of been a busy night, a smile would be nice and maybe a" I hope you enjoyed your meal " comment however nothing you don't get shown to your table you are basically given directions, whilst waiting for lunch you clearly notice how dirty it is in there, I personally couldn't wait to leave, the food arrived in a timely manner it was hot nice tasty gravy good nice cooked meat but the presentation was lacking, there was three tiny broccoli florets, three tiny cauliflower florets a spoonful of swede and a lump of limp parsnip, roast potatoes were nothing to shout about, the cauliflower cheese was lacking cauliflower florets it was all little bit and bobs in a sauce that come out bubbling, the stuffing ball was over cooked and chewy, when I asked for sauces I had no spoon for them as the lady who served seemed like she couldn't wait to get away fast enough, I didn't find the service very attuative at all, I personally left feeling dirty finding food on the seats from the day before is unacceptable, I have given the Hunters a very modest three.
