Keep an eye on the statements that arrive every year. My ground rent is 10 per year. The one last year stated I owed 30, 10 for the upcoming year and 20 arrears. Turns out they had put 10 extra by accident, luckily I emailed to question it! I pad the 20. Today (April 2023) I received my statement, 20 again. They say I owe arrears for last year. Oh no dont!! An email has been sent off again to question it! I really dont trust this company, especially those that dont accept online bank payments!

I had v.good experience paid for freehold over the phone. 2 months after received HMLR Completion of registration.

Haven't yet dealt with them directly but reading reviews on here am very dubious - I got a letter from a solicitor in Bury saying Morgoed Estates have bought the Freehold to my house - ( which I have owned for 20+ years ) I haven't heard anything from Morgoed and their solicitor won't discuss anything about them. I am very concerned why the next step might be as read horror stories about these companies buying up freehold in bulking then increasing the ground rent as much as they choose - can anyone advise please ?
