    I have used this local company on 3 occasions over the last 6-7 years and sadly, I have been left the store feeling ripped off on all occasions. The first tim - , the company was still on the High Street in Bechenham - I was charged over 100 for a change of fuse when the wiper fluid system was not working. I was made to believe that there was a lengthy time of diagnostics before the fault was identified. Second time, I needed a relatively urgent change of 2 headlight bulbs which cost me over 60, double the price of other automobile shops. Third time, I had an engine system fault light appearing on the dashboard. After attending a nationally renowned company, I was informed the fault will be cleared and see how you get on. With some anxiety around clearing faults without fixing them, I thought I should go to a proper mechanic. The spiel from one of the mechanics at CMC was rather impressive, making you think they will do twenty million things. Guess what, the error was cleared, the car was driven for a couple of miles and there was no fault identified. On top of that, the reception guy decided to do a small service despite my reluctance and categorically asking that I would not want it. He promised he would call me to let me know what the engine system fault is and before undertaking the service. In a summary, for a simple system check (free at the other stores) and an interim service, I was charged over 250. A similar service at the time of writing is usually 140. Whilst I cannot comment on the stellar service other customers receive, I feel I should share my awful experiences with this company. Service: Auto engine diagnostic
