Co-op Food - Elmers End

I visit this store quite often and some of the male staff are rude, but the female staff, while harried, are much friendlier. The staff member at the checkout is often filling shelves in between customers. Which means that customers are often left waiting, finally calling Hello?! to get service. I have just visited the store and I heard the manager, half the age of most of the staff Id say, berating 4 staff members for asking for more hours, for being slower than him, throwing packaging on the floor in the rush to fill the shelves. Obviously a trip hazard, especially since there were several elderly customers in the store. Meanwhile the queue was building up at the checkouts because there was only one member of staff serving. While I accept that the prices may be steep, its a very handy local store. But with the way its run I think it gives the co-op a bad name.

Small store but recently re vamped and carries quite good stock. Small car at the side. Appears well used.
