Very professional, kind and customer-centered business, and very cheap. Alterations and repairs made very well as well, it's years now I go and I highly recommend Clissold Cleaners.

I am very disappointed as I have previously had good experiences with this business. I brought a pair of black leather trousers in to have the button fixed, picked them up over a week later to find white tide marks all over them that wouldn't come off - they looked as though they had been pressed or cleaned somehow (not at my request), or stored incorrectly after the repair (although I was assured not). I took them back and questioned why they had been given back to me in this state. They claimed they had no idea where the marks had come from and blamed it on me, even though the trousers were in their possession for over a week, and when i dropped them off, the leather was not at all marked. Not only was no solution provided, but when I asked for a refund, they refused. So I have actually paid money to have an extremely expensive and much loved garment RUINED. Extremely upset as they have sentimental value, plus just a waste of my money during a cost of living crisis. Do not trust this business with valuable and or expensive garments as they wont look after them, and will accept zero responsibility for their carelessness.

My brother uses this place and is friendly with most businesses owners in the cs but i wanted to get some pants shortened only to find out online they have some prices example pant shortening is 9.95 and you can order online and drop.it off in person sounds good then the telephone number don't work very odd so i sent my brother over and he told me was rebuffed by a younger man who told him its 12pounds and the website don't count at all lol i hope they update this dodgy info or turn off the site its misleading and false he was told to wait another time for the boss i called the other dry cleaners in newington green he told me directly for just shortening its 10.00 anything more is additional very honest and direct Service: Alterations

RUINED HALF OF WHAT I BROUGHT IN & LIE ABOUT PRICES. I dont ever write reviews but you must be warned! I brought in 4 jackets, two blazers and two winter jackets. I noticed as soon as I got home that the elbow patches on one of jackets had been ruined. I brought it back and they fixed it. I was fine with that. Then as weather got colder I want to put on a winter jacket and noticed the zip was no longer working. When I brought it in they accused me of lying. He pointed out stains they had not cleaned properly and said I had clearly been wearing this winter jacket a lot even though its been really nice out. So not only did they ruin the zipper, they also didnt even clean properly. Then he accused me of trying to cheat my way out of paying by lying. All because when I got my bill I asked for clarity on the pricing because it did not match the website. When I brought my jackets in initially the person working said they didn't know what the cost would be. Then today the man claimed that he had even given me a discount which is only by his word because the pricing it not listed anywhere.
