Lovely old stately home but not open to visit the house itself at weekends, which we hadn't realised - hence only 4 stars. Saying that, there's an excellent caf rum by lovely, friendly ladies. It has indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor tables being great in good weather. If you're into gardening, plenty of plants on sale and two antique businesses. So along with the garden walks, it's well worth a visit. It also has plenty of parking - pay at the machines. We'll go back to visit the inside of the Hall on an open day.
