        Absolutely loved our break away here! Clean, comfy, peaceful! Me the hubby, toddler, dog (&bump!) found it perfect! Just what we needed! Lots to do (if you drive) within the nice local village. Lots of great walks with the dog not too far away! Ships and pubs are a short drive if needed. Would love to come back to this lodge can't fault it at all!

        I was very disappointed at the lack of basic provisions on arrival. No welcome pack, but even as a bare minimum I would have expected soap/hand-wash by the sinks, but there was nothing. And only 1 toilet roll per bathroom. I didn't consider this a 'cheap' holiday and have stayed at other cottages where a welcome pack has been provided - It felt like the owners didn't want to 'go the extra mile' here with any little extras. Windows needed a good clean. On the positive side though, the lodge itself was spacious and clean enough, plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery etc, lovely decking area, great location.
