Nice farm 2.5 miles from Stratford upon Avon on the A3400. They have a B&B but we stayed on the camping rally field and CAMC CL in our motorhome. Both sites have ehu's and there's an additional small campsite with hardstandings. Good facilities including a drive over waste drain, local produce hut, medieval function barn, good recycling, and fairly new clean toilet and shower room (takes 20p's) with a washing machine. Freindly helpful owner on the working farm with sheep and horses. You can walk into Stratford along the main road footpath, or catch a bus just down the road at Ailstone, or explore local footpaths and quaint villages and pubs. Only downside was a bit of road noise and poor freeview TV reception but that wouldn't put us off returning.

We stayed here with friends on the CL site and could not fault it, Karen was very welcoming on arrival and gave us a run down on the area, there is also a small shed full of information for visiting the area, also a shed with home made cakes, eggs, jams etc. The site was very well kept with a small but comfortable toilet and shower room with shower that cost 20p for 6 minutes so was ideal. There are some lovely walks from the site including across fields to the village pub which made a nice stroll past the sheep etc. All in all we had a superb weeks stay at Monks Barn and would certainly recommend the site.
