For whilst friendly enough - the complimentary taxi to the venue and back was appreciated ! - there were too many drawbacks.
We reserved a table for lunch, but this was forgotten; check-out is at 9.30am (ludicrous): and for all this we were treated as an inconvenience. We had window-cleaners outside our room at 9am, who could see in, the pub was being cleaned as we were having breakfast (disinfectant not a great accompaniment) and it was all quite rushed.
Rooms well-kept, though no hooks for towels in the bathroom.
For the price expected much more and the check-out policy has to change.
