        I was not visiting but one of the volunteers. A small Manor house full of history dating back to the 13th Century. The house has been the family home of the Elton family since 1709 when Abraham Elton purchased the house. The house is only open Wednesday's, Thursdays and Sundays during April to the end of September. Check the National Trust website before visiting
