Dowlais Farm

Absolutely fantastic stay at Dowlais Cottage- old converted barn. Beautiful place inside and out. Great parking facilities and bar b que and patio outside. Everything was just amazing, beds so comfortable, facilities were great. Everything we needed was there. Short walk to the seafront - lovely views. Dog friendly and they even got our pet some treats. Definitely going back Thank you

A group of us were lucky enough to stay here for New Year. The holiday lets are absolutely stunning with everything we needed plus more! Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely hosts, Kathrin and Dave, who went above and beyond to make our stay so great. We will definitely be staying here again

Oh my days where do I start theres so many things we loved about Dowlais farm its difficult to know where to begin! If youre looking for a small friendly cosy campsite for some proper down to earth camping that easily reached from the M5 then this site is for you. The 5 pitches are beautifully situated in the farms apple orchard where you can sit surrounded by bird song, sipping cider with your own fire pit or enjoy the company of other campers around the communal fire pit. Dont be put off by the composting toilets, weve never used them before and we were seriously impressed! they were much nicer and cleaner than the conventional toilets weve used on bigger more commercial sites and the newly installed showers were a definite winner. If youre looking to venture further afield then the coastal walk into Clevedon is a must with the stunning views across the Severn estuary it has to offer and its really easily accessed right from the site. And Ive been saving the best bit until last and that is the wonderful warm and friendly welcome from Dave, Kathrine and the family, they truly gave us a weekend to remember with fond memories that will last a life time thank you!

Absolutely lovely orchard campsite! The showers were clean and hot, the compost toilets were great. The owners were so so welcoming. The communal fire was great in the evening. There is also a 20 min walk or quick cycle ride to the coast. Will definitely return to this great find

Lovely site in an apple orchard, small site with spacious pitches and everything you need with hook up, lovely showers and compost loos. We loved it!
