Menu looked nice and fairly priced, seemed to be a good atmosphere with the other customers.
The girl who took my order was pleasant and efficient so what could go wrong?
Our drinks were delivered with the enthusiasm of a wet weekend and then a plate of slightly warmed bread was delivered (toast, apparently). We asked for some slightly more toasted bread which was delivered with as much enthusiasm as the drinks.
The food came and was OK I guess, but nothing to really get excited about. It was all a bit bland and not the hottest meal I've ever had.
I don't know if the lady who brought our drinks, warm bread, toast and breakfast was having a bad day, but we felt she wasn't bothered about us or the food.
At best it was an hour out of the cold but not a lot more.
Just a bit of acknowledgement and maybe a smile could have turned things round, its not difficult.
