Crow Leasow Farm B&B

Nothing was too much trouble for Sally. She obliged in every way to make us welcome and respond thoughtfully to our unfamiliarity with the area's remarkable beauty and history. She enthused and cajoled us to explore and walk which we did with immense pleasure. Altogether, taken with sublime fresh, wholesome, and local food as well as a divine room - cum home - we luxuriated in a foretaste of heaven.

Friends of ours, whom we were coming to Ludlow to see, had previously booked this place for their daughter and son-in-law, so it was obviously recommended. We arrived mid-afternoon to be greated by the lovely Sally who showed us to our room (my darlin' pre-booked the Red Room) to dump our luggage then to the garden for tea and a relax and read, where Boot (one of the dogs,) taught me how to throw a tennis ball! That evening, our friends joined us at the farm and Sally cooked us a delightful, tasty, wholesome meal (you must bring your own wine etc.) A choice of breakfasts, again Sally freshly cooks, then out to roam Ludlow. We spent a couple of nights as Sally and Robin's guests and it's a really lovely place to be. The second night, a meal out with family then back by 10:30. In to the sitting room with a bottle of wine and our books. Relaxing. There are lots of interesting, historical decorations and you get a general welcoming, cosy feeling just being there. Next time we stay in Ludlow, we will be back with Sally and Robin.
