Carvery is always great, food always fresh and hot, well stocked. The staff are the biggest charm of this lovely spot, always friendly & attentive. Always welcoming of our Nellie dog and give her attention and treats. Can't fault the place, don't know how it's not always busy! Cleckheatons best kept secret!!

I came with a party (7 of us altogether. One person chose the cavery and it looked like a great choice. Everyone else chose from the main menu and I chose Veggi Chilli. unfortunately I made a mistake and did not realise that guacomale was included with the dish - I have a very severe allergy to avocado. The mistake was mine as it was mentioned on the description of the dish. So the dish was served, I realised and told the waitress, I felt quite embarrassed - but I shouldn't have been she took it away and said I would have another meal within a few minutes. I checked that it was a fresh dish and was delighted to hear it was She said "Of course, if it is an allergy we have to replace the whole dish" Which is obvious when I thought about it. I offered to pay for a new meal but was reassured that wasn't necessary - I was particularly impressed by that, thanks! When it came it had an allergy stick with it to avoid mistakes. and it was delicious. All of were very pleased with our food and the service from the two members of staff who served our tablets was excellent. Thank you very much

carvery was cold and bit bland. my son had a burger which was burnt and the fries were just thrown on plate- no presentation and no side made it look plain and boring. staff however were lovely

Shameful, Absolutely shameful. Ordered the hunters chicken and the chicken was dry, Overloaded with barbecue sauce and their idea of a salad is half a grilled tomato, Wouldnt come again.
