Reserved a Property with Nigel kay homes, very friendly and answered all questions asked. Everybody I have spoke to on the estate has been more than happy with final outcome of the homes from excellent quality and customer service.

I am disappointed with Nigel Kay. Initial deposit of 2k paid May 21, but after that zero updates or communication until May 22, and that was via a very brief email and only to request a balance payment of 7k. The reservation form advises that this payment is due 14 weeks prior to completion but that would have taken us to near Aug 22 end and a full 15 months after reservation date. By the time Nigel contacted us we had lost confidence. Nigel also failed to annotate a completion date on said form. In our initial meeting we were advised that we should expect a call to choose our Kitchen January 22 and also review location of electrics but this did not happen. I accept that Pandemic delays as inevitable but a call to touch base would have been appreciated. My response to the email received 1 year later was to request a refund of the 2k deposit and this was flatly denied though stipulated as non-returnable. I however would have expected some flexibility given the delay and lack of any customer consideration whatsoever.
