Ennerdale Country House Hotel

Hotel is in a prime location for hikers or for stopping off en route. Evening meal was incredible, you could tell there was fresh produce/ingredients in each of the dishes, very reasonably priced for the quality of the meal. A good range of drinks including a local ale, drinks again were reasonably priced. Staff were spot on, very good customer service, very friendly, had no complaints regarding customer service. The room was good, had all the essentials, nice and warm. My personal opinion is some of the rooms could do with a refurb, fresh, bright paint, maybe some new furniture. Other than that a good stay. Food & drinks: Amazing food, fresh produce. Great selection of drinks and some good whiskeys on offer.

Lovely grounds hotel has real Character lovely building staff go the extra mile 10/10 for me love old building great staff breakfast was lush. I do recommend Nearby activities: RX4 ran by David barns not to be missed
