A lovely visit, happy to pay a donation, we tour with our caravan to many places and enjoy eating out. But, and yes there is always a but, so many eateries are now becoming dog friendly, great for the owners, but not for us, my husband has a terrible reaction to animal hair, hence we had to leave. The food looked fantastic.

Popped in today for a bite to eat with family as it was my daughter's birthday, seven of us in total. Gorgeous cake including a gluten free bakewell tart, chocolate fudge cake and cream teas. Most importantly the coffee was great and everything was reasonably priced, well presented and delicious. What made the day for us were the two brilliant ladies behind the counter who were so welcoming, helpful and provided excellent customer service. Thank you so much. The menu is varied, including breakfast in the mornings, ploughman's, quiche, burgers and of course a variety of cake and a cream tea throughout the rest of the day. All set in the beautiful tranquil setting of the 300 year old watermill this is a place to relax, enjoy good food and maybe visit the animals or have a few games of pooh sticks under the bridge as we did. Well worth a visit.
