I have been shopping at Jilanis at least for last 7 years. My husband and I won't buy meat from anywhere else- no matter how posh is the shop. It's only at Jilanis that you get non smelly lamb. Everywhere else you get lamb that stinks of animal fat. Yes I understand some people might not appreciate that kind of meat because they are so used to eating low standard goat meat. I guess the staff is not only polite but they are forever ready to cut the meat according to your requirement. Also it's a great place to shop for Asian spices and frozen stuff. Jilani is more popular than we know. I am a loyal costumer and shall remain so. Thanks

Staff very nonchalant and extremely bed behaving I saw staff picking up pieces of chicken from the floor they dropped and placing it back . 3 times in a row I've been sold stinking gone off chicken mince and once recently gone off whole chicken. I've been a loyal customer to jilani since they opened but recently the quality has gone totally downhill. They are stretching expiry dates and then making keema with gone off meat/poultry. I will never return now. Also I have seen replies from the owner saying bring stuff back and we will offer an exchange or refund, sorry but that is totally wrong! As an owner you have a responsibility to check your product before selling it, especially raw meat and poultry. You have lost a customer for good now.

Been going here since it opened previous staff was super friendly meat was always clean , however new staff members are rude and shop looks like its has not had a clean in months ! . Im now hesitant if i ever want to return.
