Capelfield Surgery

If I could give no stars I would. Doesnt matter when you call for who or what the problem is or how urgent you can forget about getting an appointment. This is the worst surgery Ive dealt with. I even tried to book an appointment 2 months in advance once and that couldnt be done either. You get told to go online and when you go online now days they have closed that portal as well. So basically your only constant option if you need to see a doctor is to do so privately.

Thursday 8 December called at 2.45 pm, 1st in the queue but no answer by 3.20 pm, assumed no one in Reception to pick up a call ? Claygate Pharmacy has been trying to get my prescription since 24 November, they tried 3 more times since with no success ? A repeat prescription for vital thyroxine since 1975/ and eye drops since 1991 ? Regular annual reviews and all as usual so quite puzzled !

My experience of the surgery has been great. Staff always helpful and doctors are excellent. They even ring you months later reviewing medical files to suggest preventative treatment. I've never had that anywhere else. Ignore the 'I can't get an appointment in the next 30 minutes' moaners. It's the same everywhere else, doesn't make it a bad surgery.
