Best Western Claydon Country House Hotel

No phone signal, WiFi adequate. Room standard, and clean. Noisy in the room can hear every movement in the corridor. The evening meal was edible but not great. Breakfast is not good, poor continental and terrible hot food. Scrambled egg was more like burnt omelette, and bacon tasted funny, so didn't eat either. Staff were nice and friendly

We celebrated our golden wedding at this hotel, some of my guests stayed at the venue, we had a sit down meal for 45 people, can honestly say that the service, food and attention to detail was second to none, food was delivered hot and was first class, how the chef managed to juggle the variety of food cooked to perfection I do not know, his staff was attentive and nothing was to much trouble. We are going to organise a further event with them as we were highly delighted with the experience we enjoyed. Thank you Frankie and his team for a memory we will treasure This was a first class event.

Gave 5 stars for location as it is literally opposite where I needed to be. In truth it is in a nice little village; convenient for many places but not next to anything significant Hotel and rooms in general are quite basic but clean and comfy. Everything worked as expected Staff were warm, friendly and helpful Decent hotel at a decent price
