Stretton House

What can I say, this house was exceptional! Huge family gathering and catered so well for all. Beds were so comfortable, lots of room, games room entertained little and older ones, great movie room, amazing dining room meaning we could all eat together, amenities were great! Garden was super, lots of playing on the swings, throwing a frisbee, playing football and a fantastic bbq. No-one wanted to leave, lots of precious memories made and cannot wait to go back and meet up again - thank you x

We stayed at Stretton House with a group of friends (adults and children) and we had an incredible weekend here. Highly, highly recommended! It was all brilliant, but here are a few points that we especially appreciated: - beautiful, period features. Stunning view from the house. Lovely warm welcome from John, great communication before and afterwards from Dena, who left us a welcome pack with thoughtful treats, which we really appreciated. - comfortable, spotless, spacious sleeping accommodation - space for all of us to spread out, families could have their children in neighbouring rooms. - two extremely well equipped kitchens - 3 dishwashers, tonnes of crockery and cutlery, all the fridge and freezer space we could ever have hoped for, loads of equipment including baking equipment, ice machine - to mention just a few things. - peaceful and safe for the children - on a quiet road, can shut the gates, big enclosed garden at the back which you can see from the kitchen. - lovely dining and social areas. We especially loved the outside BBQ area, the children could run and play on the swings while we caught up! Excellent sound system which kept us entertained while we cooked. - cool games room, including table football, table tennis - incredibly well connected... large Tesco less than 10 mins up the road, we went for a run along the canal which is about 15 mins away.
