We have used MSL for a number of years and have had a brilliant service everytime. You get what you pay for - which in this case is top notch!

I had a problem with Klargesters septic tank at home and called the number from previous files which is now called MSL pump. They sent me an engineer the next day and the Customer service asked me my bank detail for the payment and i did given her my bank detail. I assumed that they will take my money after the engineer had finished and fixed the problem. The engineer came and found out the problem that the motor/gearbox was burnt out and need to be replaced and also the belt and the bearing. He took away the motor/gearbox and the belt for quotation purpose and i dont mind. He did the job for less than an hour. He left the site and the companys accountant took my money from my account 270 ( 225 call out plus 45 VAT) without my permission whilst the job has not finished yet. I did rang them, they said that payment is called the call out payment. They will charge me more labours charge again for the engineer to put the new motor. I tried to put my allegation right to the manager about the charge that they took whilst the job has not done yet! And how come they will charge me again to carry on the job that they has not finished yet! but the manager cant accept my allegations and He was very rude saying That They will not fix it and He said He will send the motor/gearbox by post( its un respectful ). I refused and i asked him to return the motor/gearbox back to the site. The engineer returned them back the next day and the engineer was nice but i understand that he only worked for the company. He cant do anything expect doing the order. It was unacceptable experience. what a scam, sell the customer a high priced visit, then visit the site, didnt fix anything and pocket the charge. Avoid this company at all costs. So many company out there, RA Dalton and Kingspan. Their labour charge is far cheaper than this company.

We have today had another company come out and look at our Klargester. The remaining pump has been running continuously dry due to the float being left detached by your company. We are also informed that we do not need a new motor and gear box as you stated and the quote for the work we have been given by the new company is considerably cheaper than yours. We have been left feeling that you have not provided a good value service over recent years with our Klargester continually breaking down after your staff have worked on it. Your estimates for required work have been unclear and the prices are in no way competitive eg your call out is now 200 plus vat, other companies are charging between 120 and 140. Please take this as constructive feedback and something you may wish to consider with your remaining customers going forward. I would not recommend this company and would advise anyone needing this service to compare quotes.
