Two fires fitted. Three years on and a problem with one required parts. Contact them and attitude was, "Hard luck." Had thrown threaten legal action just to wake them up!

Really poor after sales service ! Purchased my Portway gas stove from this local company - Fault codes showing from beginning. Called to have checked and immediately passed onto manufacturer , despite purchasing from them . Manufacturer claimed they had not received guarantee , despite this being signed and dated by fitter from this company . Really shoddy treatment for a purchase in the region of 2,000 . Informed that they dont have a gas fitter to check as he has now retired . No option left as so under statuary but to take to small claims court using the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Under these strict rules, any item you buy must be: If the product is not as described, fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality then you can ask for a full refund, a repair or a replacement of the product from the retailer not the manufacturer. I definitely would not recommend this company .

We required a new gas stove and arranged with Peak Fireplaces to remove our very old gas fire and surround and replace with a new brick chamber with fascia beam and York stone hearth. Peak Fireplaces provided the quote to carry out all the work. Robert, the gas fitter and his colleague arrived on the due date removing the old fireplace and installed the new one complete with new gas stove and chimney liner. Two days work. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome both for the for the stove and fireplace. We would have no hesitation in recommending Peak Fireplaces to anyone looking for a new fire /fireplace.
