Stoodleigh Court Coach House B&B

We had a lovely warm welcome to our weekend retreat from Steve and Rosey. My room was perfect, comfortable and designed to a hig standard. The B&B space is wonderful with a kitchen and lounge area to socialise in. The food we had was absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to be able to return again in the future and would highly recommend!

Last year my bridesmaids and I got ready for my wedding here and Rosey made our morning very special, even finding toys for my daughter to play with. She had the fire lit, nibbles and champagne out for me and my new husband when we arrived back and served the most incredible breakfast the morning after. As we left we booked in to do the whole thing again this year for our wedding celebration and it was like coming home. Rosey put on a fantastic breakfast spread, carefully acknowledging a number of dietary requirements and made the morning very special again. Aside from how welcoming Rosey is, the rooms and kitchen are beautiful and spotless. Very well equipped and there is always flapjack!

I attended a Jewellery Making Retreat at Stoodleigh Court Coach House B&B at the end Sept/beginning of October. What a joy the whole experience was - so much so that I have reserved my place for 2023 ! The accommodation was extremely comfortable & peaceful and I felt so at home. Rosey & Steve were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I arrived on my own but immediately felt settled & relaxed. The course was fully catered and all the meals served were delicious, Rosey is an accomplished cook. Our Tutor, Penny was great, encouraging, informative and inspirational. Even though I have been working with silver for years I learnt so much and feel quite proud of the jewellery I completed on the course. I thoroughly recommend Stoodleigh Coach House as a place to stay, especially if you take part in one of its fabulous courses.

We had booked back in 2019 for 2020 to stay before and after my wedding. Unfortunately we had to postpone for 2 years due to covid. Rosey was brilliant through the whole process of delaying our stay until we had our day. We finally made it and it was perfect! Beautiful location and Rosey was the most attentive host! She had thought of everything and was so welcoming, nothing was a problem. I was so impressed with the rooms, they were all stunning and comfortable. I stayed the night before with one of my bridemaids and had the 'get ready" morning rountine with all 6 of my bridesmaids. When my new husband and I got back that night everything was tidy, clean and replenished! We then had breakfast on the terrace which again was perfect and delicious! Could not recommend highly enough!
