Narly Oak Boarding Cattery

Always safe to leave our cat here when we go away, kind staff that are attentive to her needs. Highly recommended.

A very overdue review. Ive been using this Cattery for around 6 years and with increasing frequency due to work. They boarded my cat for almost 2 months in 2021, and took the BEST care of my girl. Theyve dropped her off to me before too. My cat never seems fussed about leaving to come home and instantly relaxes when she sees them at drop off, usually after singing the song of her people all the way there. I am always confident they follow her diet plan but most importantly, they seem to actually genuinely care about the cats in their care and are just nice people. A decent fraction of her toys are Christmas gifts from her numerous stays with Narly Oak. Absolute gem of a place, wholly recommend.

Phillipa provides an exceptional service and Narly Oak is an outstanding cattery. As a new cat owner, I had visited six catteries prior to seeing Narly Oak, and I was becoming concerned about finding my cat a good place to stay. I was so relieved when I arrived to visit Narly Oak. Phillipa was so friendly and professional. She knew all the cats by name and clearly cared for them. The Cattery is on a very quiet road and is cats only. The cat chalets are spacious, incredibly clean and face a beautiful green garden. Cat mats, beds and scratching posts are in the chalets. All the cats seemed happy and relaxed. I knew my cat would be safe and well looked after there. Phillipa went above and beyond to fit me in during their busiest time of the year. I was so grateful. On the lead up to boarding my cat, Phillipa could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and she answered any questions I had very quickly. On arrival with my cat, Phillipa took a long time to talk through the needs she had. Phillipa also accommodated some bedding which was incredibly kind of her as my cat had grown very attached to a blanket since we'd rescued her. My cat also happened to be staying on the two heatwave days in July, so I was nervous about leaving her. But Phillipa was ready, and had already made provisions for the heatwave. I knew my cat would be okay. Phillipa's confident, reassuring manner gave me every confidence that my cat was being looked after. She even sent me updates and pictures during our cat's stay which was a lovely touch and really thoughtful. My cat came home happy and relaxed. She had clearly been incredibly well looked after. I would highly recommend Narly Oak and I will be using them again for the foreseeable future. Thank you for everything Phillipa and Narly Oak.

To say we loved it might be misleading, but our dear cat has had a fantastic visit on two stays in recent months. Would recommend and the owners do a great job and are clearly attentive and caring folk.
