Trude's is a fantastic grocery shop right in the heart of Clapham. Trude's specialises in high quality products, and is a little pricer than Waitrose.

The sourdough bread used to be very good. Check the label carefully as the supplier is listed under the bread type. Quality and taste varies. The bread doesnt have a soft crisp crust, isnt springy. Its like the dough hasnt been proved enough before baking. Its drier and denser. Doesnt taste/feel fresh. Still good for toast, but overall its very disappointing now. Ive tried the cakes and its style over substance or flavour in this case. The coffee is pretty good. The shop is clean, bright, spacious and easily accessible if you have a pushchair.
