Great communication from this company, they go through the details when booking a removal service. Invoicing and payment confirmations are spot on. Until the actual removal day, their employee wasnt professional quite rude and difficult. None of the items were protected in a plastic cover as promised when booking this service. If I questioned anything I was rudely shut down. My mattresses were left on a garden bench covered in bird mess and debris. My fully working tv had white patches where the colour has gone after the removal. Spoken to customer services but no compensation was offered for the damages and lack of professionalism. Not impressed at all and wont be using their services again. A full complaints email was sent to them with a list of all the issues yet they only replied to one of the issues and ignored rest of the list. Luckily my door camera captured it. SML have just moved us. Paulo and Alex packed for us the day before and then moved us next day. They were super friendly, helpful, efficient. Honestly I couldnt ask for more, nothing was a problem and made the move so much easier.

I cannot recommend SML Removals highly enough. We recently moved house in a very quick move that had a lot of uncertainty and delays. When I put in a quote with a price comparison website, SML came up as one of the options. Of the three companies I was directed to, SML was the one company that followed up with me personally. Will called me a couple times, once when I was still comparing, and again later when I thought we'd have a move date but didn't yet. He advised me it was a busy time to move but that he could give me a quote from a WhatsApp survey of our house and then be given a FLEXIBLE date from that quote! This was a life saver, because the week before our move date, we were told it would be at least one day LATER. I called Will and he changed the date for us on extremely short notice. The movers themselves were extremely professional and friendly and treated all of our furniture and belongings with care, and even offered to bring a couple extra boxes after he'd arrived. The job was done in a few hours, and the next day they met us at our property up north, a several hours long journey! We were even running late to get to the property because of further delays, but we called to say as much and we weren't given any grief about it. Everyone who worked with us was attentive and friendly, all of our belongings were in perfect condition once they left, and it made the stress of a massive move so, so much easier from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough and highly recommend them above anyone else!
