Went here for a mid week treat and it was fantastic. The food (steak pie and veg) was delicious and worth every penny. The staff were so friendly and they made our two dogs very welcome too!!

Stumbled across this lovely country pub on a bit of a hike, we had got lost several times and sought sanctuary here in the beautiful garden with gorgeous views. I'd actually hurt my foot and our car was another four miles, after already having walked 15.5.... When we got our refreshments the fabulous server, Tracey Light, listened to our sorry tale and offered us a lift back to our car in her break - I could've wept at her kindness, completely above and beyond as far as customer service goes! We will definitely be back to tuck into one of their tasty looking roasts, Tracey said they were delicious and I'm inclined to believe her! Thank you for your warm friendly welcome and especially to Tracey - not all heroes wear capes!

Too noisy, it was like being in a child's playground with small children running about unsupervised. It was a long time to wait for food once ordered, and when it came, items listed on the menu weren't there, so we had to ask for them. We won't be going back to eat there. It used to be a good pub, but it's now got too big and has lost its charm. The beer was good.
