This is Cherry Trees 40th year of being a charity and a couple of colleagues and I went to visit and what a wonderful find. The staff were so passionate about the work that they are doing and it was obvious that the young people accessing their services loved being there. The support that families get is second to none and so much in demand.

Cherry trees is a respite care centre for short visits for special children with multiple disabilities and provide much needed respite care. I am a parent of daughter with autism, cerebral palsy, who now is 23 years. We used Cherry trees respite for our daughter for 5 years from age of 13. She started with tea visits and then over night stays. Visits to Cherry trees changed our daughter from a complicated girl in to calm and matured girl. Staff is amazing and so are the facilities. You can only see the smiles on the faces of these children. We have a high respect for this charity. This support helped my daughter to move in to supported living and happily living there. This helped me to spend time for my self after caring duty for 18 years 24x7 and get in to fulfil my unfulfilled dreams of beauty pageant. Long live Cherry trees.
