I am so dissatisfied with the cleanliness, state of repair and general upkeep. And poor communication to set expectations that standards are unacceptable. Filthy windows with months old cobwebs that have gone white or dirty. It needs a deep clean inside and basic maintenance outside. Whoever reviews the standards has got them way off. Guttering needs repair. The fire smoked more inside the house than up the chimney. The double bed has springs sprung. The gate had been replaced with Harris fencing with a 1m gap. Outside is overgrown even for a natural place. A waspS nest was in the process of being treated during our stay and no one could be bothered to forewarn us? sadly my autistic son couldnt stand it so slept on the teeny sofa but left after 3 nights as I persuaded him to try but it was too slovenly for his basic standards of cleanliness and security. For my nonverbal autistic niece there were too many hazards so she left Sunday.
