        Lack of real ale. Only do lager, 1 bitter and 1 guinness, in this day and age that's deplorable

        A number of us meet there annually for a reunion of ex Royal Mail staff. We obviously haven't done that for a couple of years so it was good to see familiar faces behind the bar. Staff are friendly and helpful, good selection of beers and spirits and it's just across the road from Clacton Railway Station
